Elizabeth A. Cothron Obituary

We bid farewell to Elizabeth A. Cothron of Valdosta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Elizabeth A. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Elizabeth A.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Elizabeth A. has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Cothron, Sr.; her children, Timothy Garner and Sheri Lokey Jackson; and her sister Hilda Lammons. She is survived by: her son Clay Cothron; her granddaughters, Beth Parrish (Hunter) and Julie Lokey; her sister Wilahmena (Johnny Lauramore) of Macclenny, FL; and her son-in-law Mark Jackson of Valdosta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery (4536 Mt Zion Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
