He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Needham Elbert Sawyer and Leony Rowe Sawyer; his wife JoAnn Sawyer; his daughter Patricia James (Jeff); his granddaughters, Julie James, Katie James and Lili James; his great grandchildren, Zachary Holder and Malcom James; and his grandson Joshua Christopher Holder.
