It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Riley Black Sr. (Valdosta, Georgia), who passed away on September 2, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert LaFayette Black and Hazel Irene Sowell Black; his wife Rachel Black; his siblings, William Franklin Black and Barbara Elizabeth Black; and his brother-in-law Bo Glisson.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Black of Valdosta and Tiffany; his son-in-law Larry Fischer of Ocklawaha, FL; his granddaughter Pauline Lynn Fischer; his son Riley Black of Valdosta; his brother Ray; his sister-in-law Gloria Black of Valdosta; and his sisters, Frances Glisson of Keystone Heights, FL and Lisa Wisenbaker of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
