He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Mae Crosby and E. C. Clark; his son Edward J. Clark, Jr.; and his siblings, William Clark of Washington, Clayton of Washington and Beverly Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie L. Gipson Clark; his children, Reia Herring, Christie McGriff (Norris) and Joy Clark (Wayne); his grandchildren, Chiquita Herring and Chrissy McGriff; his siblings, Herman Clark (Mary), Fred of Washington, Sandra Wright, Margaret Crosby Sholtz (Eric) and Chiquita Crosby; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmie Gipson (Dee), Henry Gibson (Jean), Sanders Gipson (Wanda), Bruce Gipson (Rosalyn) and Diane Lucas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The celebration of life will be held privately for family only. Due to COVID-19, Stevens Funeral Home will be enforcing social distancing and following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. We ask that anyone entering the building and attending any funeral events to please wear a mask.
