He is survived by: his sons, Dupont Fomby Hardin, Jr. of Valdosta and Edwin Dirk Hardin; his children-in-law, Tina Hardin of Valdosta and William F. Yeomans of Quitman; his grandchildren, Louie Edward Thompson, III of Valdosta, Amber Ford of Valdosta and Kathryn Surrency (Jonathan Surrency) of Adel; his great grandchildren, Bren Surrency and Trae Surrency; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sam Brown and Cheyenne Brown; his brother William Irving "Billy"; his sister-in-law JoAnn Hardin; his niece Sabrina Hardin Adams; and his nephew Bill Hardin.
