She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johnson and Alimae Sasser Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Gross of Valdosta; her daughter Shari; her son-in-law Scott Shiffer of Greenville; her son Christopher Gross of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Hannah Gross, Meghan Gross, Ashley Shiffer, Matthew Shiffer and Garrett Shiffer; and her siblings, Debbie Cernoch (Bobby), Dick Johnson (Karen) and Laura Croft.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (1100 N Oak St, Valdosta, GA 31602).
