We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 87, Donald Eugene Kelley of Valdosta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donald Eugene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kelley (Betty Cook Kelley) and Marcia Buckner; and his brothers, Jim Kelley and Bane Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Kelley; his daughter Tamara Kelley; his brother Larry Kelley; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Kelley, Judith Buckner-Lungstrum and Greg Lungstrum. He is also survived by five nephews and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (200 W Central Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
