She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Higginbotham and Nell Higginbotham; and her son-in-law William Kelly (Bill). She is survived by: her husband Walter F. Schroer, Jr. of Valdosta; her children, Kelly S. Kelly of Newport, RI and Chip; her daughter-in-law Kathryn Schroer of Valdosta; her daughter Heidi S.; her son-in-law Gary Cox of Lake Park, GA; her grandchildren, Carter, Ty Harwell, Keip Coggins (Cora Jones), Camille Schroer, Mary Madeline Kelly, Brinson Coggins, Mary Elizabeth Schroer, William Kelly, Jr. and Catherine Schroer; her great grandchildren, Jackson Harwell and Saylor Schroer; and her sisters, Jennifer (Jim Connelly) and Marsha (Charlie Allison). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
