He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sims of Valdosta, GA; his children, Jana Felkel (Matthew) of Valdosta, GA and Jeffrey Sims (April) of Jonesboro, GA; his grandchildren, Brooke Felkel, Ryland Sims and Chloe Sims; and his brothers, H. W. "Sonny" Sims, Jr. (Sara) of Macon, GA and Stephen Sims (Gail) of Grovetown, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
