She was predeceased by: her parents, William Turner and Julia Bell Ware Turner; her husband Rev. Virgil Brooks; and her sons, Albert Brooks and Alvin Brooks.
She is survived by: her sons, Allan (Denise Brooks) of Valdosta, Franklin Brooks of Valdosta, Marvin (Tina Brooks) of Valdosta, Paul Brooks of Valdosta and Cyndi Brooks of St. Augustine, FL; her grandchildren, Amy, Amanda, April, Nicky, Jade, David, Rhonda, Joe, Timmy, Gini, Bradley, Bowen, Jordan, Shelby, Sarah and Joanne Brooks of Valdosta; her daughter-in-law Gayle Brooks; and also Thomas. She is also survived by spouses; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother.
