He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Christie; and his brothers, Boyd Christie and Ray Christie. He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Joseph Hugh, Cindy Christie of Clyattville, William Donald and Tonya Christie of Lakeland; his grandchildren, William Christie, Matthew Christie, Nicholas Christie and Hannah Christie; his siblings, Barbara Faye Bowser of Indiana, PA, William Preston Christie, Roger Hugh of Hahira and Valeria Ann Christie of Valdosta; his daughter-in-law Sherry Monk of Clyattville; and also Lynn Christie of Hahira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
