He is survived by: his daughter Robin Wetherington; his children-in-law, Dan Deaver of Valdosta, GA, Chris and Amy Brisson of Summerville, SC; his brother Lafon; his sister-in-law Shirley Warren of Georgetown, FL; his sister Marilyn Hancock of Valdosta, GA; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Deaver, Amanda Brisson, Ansley Lawlor and Emma Brisson; and his close friends, Dave McCoy, Jodi Stalvey, Barbara Nichols and Carolyn Bell.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
