He is survived by: his wife Deby Phillips Sims of Valdosta; his daughters, Corie Sims Black of Destin and Tracie Jaclyn Sims of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Kate Blanton Black of Destin, Jackson Baylor Black of Destin and Caroline Abigail Brennan of Valdosta; his cousin Libby (Russ Deavors) of Lake Park; his brother-in-law Ron Phillips; his brother Brad; and his sister-in-law Lyndal Sims of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
