He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell King and Mary Katherine Burkhardt King (Coffin); his wife Nina Grace Singletary King; his stepfather Paul Coffin; his siblings, Thomas L. King (Marjorie) and Doris Jean King; his grandmother Donzal Deibert; and his aunt Nancy Grove (Dick).
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen King of Valdosta and Nancy Hathaway of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Crystal Williams (Josh) of Starke and Michael Shults II of Keystone Heights; his great grandchildren, Eli Williams and Lilly Shults; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Briana Williams and Clayton Williams; and his pet Miss Daisy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
