As we bid Charlene Dorminey farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charlene Dorminey is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her brother Ashley Donahue; her former husband Larry Dewayne Dorminey; and her son-in-law Tim Wisenbaker. She is survived by: her husband Michael Sapp of Valdosta; her daughters, Charlotte Lynn Wisenbaker of Valdosta and Evelyn Renee Fielding (Justin) of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Timothy Gage Fielding of Valdosta and McKinsley Annette Fielding of Valdosta; and her sister Elaine Pittman of Nashville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Carson McLane Funeral Home (2215 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
