Catherine Price Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Price (Valdosta, Georgia), who passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Blanton (Garbutt) and Brooker Blanton; her sister Terry Blanton Fender; and her son-in-law Dr. Christopher Hendry. She is survived by: her husband George T. Price, Sr. of Valdosta, GA; her children, Brooke Price Hendry of Macon, GA and George "Tom" Price, Jr. (Jessica) of Valdosta, GA; her grandchildren, Alexis Blanton Hendry and Thomas Finnegan Price; and her brother Charles Brooker Blanton, Jr. (Missy) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
CDC guidelines for social distancing will be followed, and masks will be required at both services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ the King Episcopal Church (101 E Central Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601) and Blanton-Price Scholarship for Instructional Technology Students at Valdosta State University.
