She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Henry W. Minor and Catharine M. Minor; and her brother Hank Minor. She is survived by: her husband Byrd Simmons of Valdosta; her children, Chad Simmons (Brandi) of Pensacola and Sara Patrick (Chase) of Quitman, Georgia; and her brother Randy Minor (Lynn) of Valdosta. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Park Avenue Church Building Fund, the Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, or a favorite charity of your choosing in memory of Catharine.
