She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Gillis and Wille Lee McKinnon; her husband Dr. Henry W. Minor, Jr.; her son Henry W. Minor, III (Hank); and her siblings, Marylee Owens (Douglas), Annie Ruth Mahoffey, Henry L., Ralph, Joel and Gillis McKinnon.
She is survived by: her children, Cay Simmons (Byrd) of Valdosta and Randy Minor (Lynn) of Valdosta; her sister Jeanette Smith (Harbert) of Tallahassee Florida; her grandchildren, Stacy Evans (Rob) of Valdosta, Chad Simmons (Brandie) of Pensacola, Lindsay Groher (Grant) of Westport, Sara Simmons of Thomasville and Cady Karras (Carter) of Birmingham, Ala; and her great grandchildren, Kate, Hank, Robbie Evans of Valdosta, Weston and Anna Claire Groher of Westport, Connecticut. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
