He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Sr. and Marie Townsend Wilkins; his daughter Bobbie Jean Musgrove; and his siblings, Gloria Jean Williams and William Joseph Wilkins, Jr. (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wilkins of Valdosta; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Patrick Willaford of Valdosta; his son Nathan Wilkins (Kaneisha) of Camilla, Georgia; his grandchildren, Adeline Musgrove, Austin Musgrove, Ben Musgrove, William Musgrove and Luke Musgrove; and his mother-in-law Inez Croft of Valdosta.
