It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Jack Watkins of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Carl Watkins, Sr. and Jimmie Lee Watkins (Southall); his son Jack Allen Watkins; and his brother David Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Elvy Watkins of Valdosta, Georgia; his children, William David Watkins, Sr. (Pang) of Valdosta, Georgia and Kim Lindsey (Michael) of Amelia Island, Florida; his daughter-in-law Michelle Watkins of Savannah, Georgia; his grandchildren, Susan Opp (Chris), Meshalle Limb (Terry), Billy Jack Watkins, Cody Harris, Lauryn Stevens, Mindy Valentine (Harrison), W. D. Watkins, Jr. and William Bernhardt (Loretta); and his siblings, Jimmy Watkins (Rosemary) of Valdosta, Georgia, Faye McElvey of Marietta, Georgia, Nina Hackworth of Valdosta, Georgia and Arta Thomas (Darlene) of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
