Betty Sue left this world on December 14, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Brown and Alma Downing Brown; her husband Maxie Fletcher; her sisters, Clarice Arnold, Kathryn Crawford and Ava Nell Becton; and her grandson Alan Forgay.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Forgay (Bobby) of Conyers, Georgia, Patsy Casteen (Revis) of Valdosta, Kathy Fletcher of Twin Lakes and Craig Fletcher (Sherry) of Perry, Florida. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lake Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Building Fund for Church of Christ of Lake Park or to Hospice of South Georgia (Langdale Hospice House).
