She was predeceased by: her parents, John Porter and Mary Porter; and her husband Harold. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Watts of New Hampshire and Steven Colby of Georgia. She is also survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Alice Chapter of the Eastern Star in Hamden, Connecticut.
