He is survived by: his close friend Evelyn Davis of Jasper, FL; his sister Irene; his brother-in-law George Harper of Boca Raton, FL; his daughters, Laura (Wade Armistead) and Meredith (Kevin Lancaster); his grandchildren, Hannah Armistead of Boston, MA, Mary Claire Armistead, Luke Armistead, Eliana Armistead of Brentwood, TN, Katelyn Lancaster and Rebecca Lancaster of Valdosta, GA; his former wife Elaine McMillan of Valdosta, GA; and his cousin Memorie Loughridge of Mayo, FL.
