We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2020, at the age of 87, Amanda Aveline Deas McLain (Valdosta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hall Deas and Mellie Alderman Deas; and her siblings, James Franklin Deas, John Hall Deas, Pasco, Bobby Deas, Eloise Parady "Tot", Juanita Dees and Wanda Deas.
She is survived by: her husband Merton "Mac" McLain of Valdosta, GA.; her son Scott Douglas McLain (Carlyn) of Wisconsin; her grandson Brian McLain (Bethany); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, Nathan McLain (Madelyne) and Adam McLain (Holly); her children, Ieva Smidt, Greta Smidt, Laura Smidt and Lukas Smidtas; and also, Walker, Travis McLain (Ashley), Jackson, Meredith, Mac and Mandy.
