He was predeceased by: his brother Jeffrey Boatright. He is survived by: his parents, John Allon Boatright and Ann Rogers Boatright of Valdosta; his wife Libby Garner Boatright of Valdosta; his children, John Allon "Jay" Boatright, III of Valdosta and Maggie Elizabeth Boatright of Valdosta; his brother Phil Boatright of Utah; his parents-in-law, Marjorie and Elliott Garner of Ray City; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Garner of Ray City and Lisa Beasley (Gary) of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the South Georgia Hospice or ALS Association.
