He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Herndon Pitzing of Valdosta, Georgia; his children, Alene Dasher (Earl) of Valdosta, Georgia, Buddy Pitzing (Teresa) of Valdosta, Georgia, Rena Brantley (Jody) of Sterlington, Louisiana, Lonnie Pitzing (Tena) of Quitman, Georgia and Buck Coats (Kayla) of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Cole Bowser (Kailee), Taylor Cruz (Ryan), Chase Pitzing (Angelica), Keeley Crosby (Justin), Jody Scott, Trent Marlett (Haleigh), Chase Marlett, Shannon Knuppe (Keith), Tyler Brantley (Lexy) and Tanner Brantley of Shelby Brantley; his great grandchildren, Hayden Coats, Zoey Coats, Kam Coats and Bricen Marlett; and his sister Barbara Wilkinson of Dixie, Georgia. He is also survived by numerous other great grandchildren.
