He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ellis Adams; his parents, Howard Stacy Adams and Louise Conner Adams; and his siblings, Conner Adams, Bobbie "Leland" Adams and Larue Adams Raymond.
He is survived by: his sons, Leland Adams (Helen) of Uvalda and Jeff Adams (Joanna) of Uvalda; his grandchildren, Wesley (Felicia), Amanda, Travis, Dallas (Dwight), Shelby (Blake), Lindy, Austin and Chasity; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Gavin, Braxton, Tegann, Maddix, Kendyl and Aydan; and his sister Pricilla Adams Lindsey (Bobby) of Blitchton.
