She was predeceased by: her parents, Preacher Paul T and Annie Belle Wright (Watkins); her husband Richard Russell Simpson; and her sister Julia Rose Sublett. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tracy Engerman, Brooke Stillwell, Shanna Simpson and Richard R. Simpson, III; and her great grandchildren, Owen Shepheard, Molly Engerman and Copeland Stillwell.
