He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Garcia; his stepmother Theresa Manuela Solis Garcia (Joe W. Surls); and his brothers, Rudolfo, James, Jesse (Paul), Benjamin and Edward.
He is survived by: his friends, Paul and Don Duntsch; his wife Elizabeth Ann Yarbrough Garcia; his children, Theresa Garcia Robertson (Randy) of Cataula, Caroline Garcia Osborne (Oakie) of Brevard, Sarah Ann Garcia of Columbus, Mary Lou Garcia Cantrell (Duncan) of Huntsville, Jesse Garcia (Joanna), Joe Garcia of Denver, Katie Garcia of Columbus and Ben Garcia of Columbus; his grandchildren, Sally, Andee Robertson, Skye, Nathan Oakley "Cinco" V, John Paul "Jack" Osborne, Eleanore, Charlie and Theodore Surls "Teddy"; his brother Frank; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Garcia of Kirbyville, Peggy Garcia of Goshen and Deloras Garcia of Houston; and his friend Pam Keys (Mookie) of Columbus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions in Paul's memory to Edgewood Baptist Church, Samaritan Ministries, and Ligoner Ministries.
