He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Frances Walker McGowan, C. L. Moss and Nellie Fuller Moss. He is survived by: his son Daniel Mark McGowan, Jr.; his parents, Paula Moss McGowan and Mark Anthony McGowan; his siblings, Jeremy McGowan (Tammy) of Richmond, VA and Amber McGowan Ward (Ben) of Gloucester, VA; and his grandfather G. E. "Mac" McGowan of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
