It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Odom (Union Point, Georgia), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lee Odom and Carey Maude Davis Odom; her siblings, Delbert Lee Odom and Marceline Odom Edenfield; her brother-in-law Joseph A. Edenfield; her nephew Thomas S. "Tommy" Edenfield; her nephew-in-law Bobby C. Jenkins; and her close friend Jan Wilson.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Joe L. Edenfield (Patty) of Augusta, GA, Robert D. "Shorty" Edenfield (Sue) of Waynesboro, GA, Barbara Jenkins of Sardis, GA. and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Edenfield (David McIntyre) of Duluth, GA; her great-nephews, Doug Jenkins of Sardis, GA, Derek Edenfield (Allison) of Augusta, GA, Phillip Edenfield (Eun) of Colorado Springs, CO, Brad Edenfield (Morgan) of Waynesboro, GA and Will Edenfield of Waynesboro, GA; her close friends, Mona Villa, Dale and Janelle Ward of Greensboro, GA; her pets, Twinkles and Blackie; her caregivers, Nicole Reid, Natalie Alexander, Carolyn West, Cindy Jernigan, Carolyn Jernigan and Tawanda Pope; and also, D. J. Jenkins, Jun Edenfield, Jin Edenfield, Liam Edenfield, Cole Edenfield, Rose Edenfield, Stella Edenfield and Jules Edenfield. She is also survived by many close friends and her church family.
