It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nettie McKinley of Union Point, Georgia, born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Brooks and Florence Lee Lankford Brooks; her husband Steve McKinley of Siloam, GA.; and her siblings, Ollie V. Brooks, Leila Mae Brooks Aderhold, Waver Brooks, Benjamin F. Brooks, Weldon J. Brooks, Calvin Brooks, J. James Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks Allison, Evie L. Brooks Deal, Alvin T. Brooks and Ruby Brooks Dent.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thompson Hall of Decatur, GA; her niece Gail Brooks Spearing (George); her great-nieces and great-nephews, George (IV), Paul, Extended, Richard, Ann, Becky, Jeff, Ali Cronic Bell (Shane), Carson and Mason (Lindsey); her daughter Elaine Hall of Watkinsville, GA.; and also Bruce Lovin (Vicki). She is also survived by brothers/sisters.
