She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Bishop Dover and Winnie Pearle Marcus Dover; her former husband Larry D. Smith; and her siblings, Mildred Sanders and Leroy Dover.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Lowry of Union Point, GA; her children, Matthew Smith (Lisa) of Crawfordville, GA, Bob Watkins, Marco Lashley and Laurie S. Harris (Jimmy) of Greensboro, GA; her grandchildren, Ashley Cason (Jimbo), Cody Leach (Lainey), Dustin Harris (Jasmine), Taylor Harris, Erica Yearwood, Brandon Smith, Melissa Vogt (Wade Dixon) and Justin Smith (Julia); and her brothers, Terry Dover (Martha) of Auburn, GA and Dennis Dover (Lynn) of Union Point, GA. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
