She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett William Wilson and Elsie Opal Durham Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Carson Stewart (Jeffery), Bryan Carson (Chris) and William "Bill" Carson (Kathy); her sister Sherley Selman (Charles); and her grandchildren, Kelby Bryan Carson and Christina Celeste Carson. She is also survived by step-grandchildren and numerous friends.
