G C Oosterhoudt wrote a sympathy message

“My condolences and thoughts to his family & all the friends that knew him. I’m at Lewie back in 2006 where he happened to notice what I was researching at the Georgia archives, and invited me to join Marquis de Lafayette SAR chapter meeting. The rest is history! I will miss his sarcastic sense of humor, and his opinions, about everything! He always said that between the two of us, he was related to the southern half of Henry County and I to the northern half. He was quite a character. RIP, buddy”
