He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Franks; his son Jimmy Franks; and his brother Phil Franks. He is survived by: his daughter Chelia Stevens (Frederick) of Union City, GA; his stepchildren, James "Jimmy" Wilson (Terri) and Janelle Breegle (Danny); his sister-in-law Janet Franks of McDonough, GA; and his grandchildren, Jason Franks, Lisa Lunsford, Chris Lunsford and Felicia Stevens.
