He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Taylor and Roy Taylor. He is survived by: his spouse LaRena Specht; his children, Trissa Lovell, Dr. Greg Taylor, Vickie Pyfrom and Kevin Taylor; and his children-in-law, Dr. David Lovell, Jasmin Taylor, Geno Pyfrom and Shelby Taylor. He is also survived by fourteen Grandchildren, and six Great Grandchildren.
Soon after retirement, he began to care for LaRena, who sadly had begun to show signs of Alzheimer's disease.
