He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde N. Layman and Mary Schultz Layman; his former wife Helen Altman Layman; and his son Tim Layman. He is survived by: his wife Mary K. Layman of Unadilla; his daughter Angie Bowden (Mike); his stepchildren, Alex Sellars (Katrina) of Martinsburg, WV and Melissa Holley (Tom) of Dublin; his siblings, Paul Layman of Statesville, NC., Edna Wilson and Betty Seago of Perry; and his grandchild Kyle Layman (Lauren).
