She was predeceased by: her parents, Barton Pollard and Iva Lou Pollard; her husband John Ellis Pendergrass, Sr.; her son John Ellis Pendergrass, Jr.; and her sister Zedene Byron.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Brand (Knox, Jr.); her grandchildren, Patricia Ryan (James), Knox Brand, III (Melissa), Rebecca Roberts (Dusty) and Grace Pendergrass; her great grandchildren, John Ryan, McKayla, Emma Haylei, Hunner Roberts, Julian Morgan and James Pendergrass; and her nephew Carroll Byron (Beverly).
