He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Walker and Lorene Walker of Asheboro, NC.; his wife Sharon Blake Walker; and his great grandchild Ellie Grace Allard. He is survived by: his children, Blake Walker (Pam) of Carrollton, GA, Kimberly Dover (Joel) of Newnan, GA and Jason Walker of Buckingham, VA; his brothers, Dickie Walker (Gail) of Asheboro, NC, Mike Walker (Beth) of Asheboro, NC and Pat Walker (Lynn) of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Nicole Hays (Justin), Jessica Allard (William), Patrick Walker, Megan Dover, Jake Dover and Allison Dover; and his great grandchildren, Micah Hancock, Haiden Hays, Blakely Allard and Wyatt Allard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
