He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Sommerfeld and Herbert Sommerfeld; and his son Alan Sommerfeld. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sommerfeld; his daughter Barbara Sommerfeld; and his grandchildren, Alex Sommerfeld Lethcoe and Allison Sommerfeld.
