It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Jacky Matthews of Tyrone, Georgia, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Melba Wright Matthews; his children, Lance Matthews, Ashley Suttles (James) and Stephanie Thomason; his sisters, Patricia Peacock and Judy Banks (Jerry); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Nichols (Austin), Tyler Suttles, Aaron Thomason and Kelsey Thomason; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
