She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Gordon Jones and Ola Mae Sutton; her son Chris Bird; and her siblings, Gene Jones, Bobby Jones, Punk Jones, Robert Jones, Bill Jones, Boot Jones, Betty Akridge and Skooter Partridge.
She is survived by: her husband Buddy Bird; her children, Robert Bird of Sylvania and Pam Reimsnider (Bill) of Swainsboro; and her sister Wilene Newman of Swainsboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
