He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny M. Jones and Eula Mae Sparks Jones; his children, Rita Faye Lanier and Troy Jones, Jr.; and his former wife June C. Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Poole (Wendell), Patricia Hodges and Timothy Jones (Linda); and his sister-in-law Geneva Jones. He is also survived by Twin City, GA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
