He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Albert Hooks and Mamie Parham Hooks; his wife Willa Dene Oglesby Hooks; and his siblings, W. A. Hooks, Jerry Hooks, Ronald Hooks, Tommy Hooks, Edith Willis and Yvonne Chester.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Hooks of Statesboro, Donna Hooks of Twin City and Tracy Trull (Billy) of Twin City; and his grandchildren, Taylor Trull and Austin Trull. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Durden - Hudson Funeral Directors (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
