She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thomas and Willie Maude Arnold Wilkerson; her husband Larry L. Sheppard Sr.; and her siblings, Kathryn Garvin, Roy Thomas Wilkerson, Jr., James Thomas Wilkerson and Bobby Ray Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Akridge (Chris), Larry Sheppard, Jr. (Barbara) of Dublin, GA. and Steven L. Sheppard (Lily) of Statesboro, GA.; her sisters, Vera Henderson of Swainsboro, GA, Minnie Lanier of Millen, GA, Diane Strickland of Canoochee, GA and Brenda Coleman of Canoochee, GA.; her grandchildren, Carissa Paul (James), Moriah Dunn (Nik), Makayla Million (Jordan), Steven Sheppard Jr. and Blake Akridge; and her great grandchildren, Aubrie Paul, Alisa Paul, Caden Paul and Laelyn Dunn.
