With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivy Lee Stewart Sr. of Twin City, Georgia, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Aubrey "Mike" and Ivy Ruth Wise Stewart; his sister Carol Wallace; and his wife Welda Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Natalie Durden (Todd) of Swainsboro, Ivy Lee, Jr. (Chawny) of Swainsboro and Kacie Stewart of Wrightsville; his grandchildren, Michael Durden (Gabby) of Swainsboro, Jeb Stewart (Amber) of Statesboro, Lelyn Overstreet (Daniel) of Swainsboro, Christopher Durden (Katie Ruff) of Savannah and Jonathan Watkins of Wrightsville; his great grandchildren, William Durden and Cooper Overstreet; and his brothers, Roscoe "Rocky" Stewart (Alecia) of Wadley and Gene Stewart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home (718 S Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
