With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert M Jones (Twin City, Georgia), born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carlyle Jones and Mildred Proctor Jones; and his brothers, James Carlyle Jones Jr. and William Proctor Jones. He is survived by: his grandsons, Reid Jones, Braxton Jones, Cayden Jones, John Smoyer, Bent Gay and Evan Gay; his wife Carol Lincks Jones; his daughter Alison Jones Smoyer (John); his sister Valerie Jones; his grandchildren, Jake, Trent and Kristin Smoyer; his great grandchildren, Shelby and Isaac Edwards of Surrency; his sister Beth Jones Gay (Jerry) of Dublin; and his sisters-in-law, Megan Jones of Virginia, Mary Langston of Washington, DC and Maralon Jones of New Jersey.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at Twin City Methodist Church with Rev. David Donnan officiating. *CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are required for your safety and the well being of others.
