He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Ray and Lillie Mae Ray; and his son Billy Dewayne Ray. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ray; his son Terry; his daughter-in-law Angela Ray; his daughter Brenda; and his son-in-law Ken Dorsey. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
