She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Womble and Catherine Shropshire; her children, Michelle Walker and Eric Watters; her sister Sarah Dayle Womble Nash; her cousin Brenda Montgomery; and her nephew Jerome Nash.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Watters; her grandchildren, Keara Watters and Joshua Walker; her aunts, Bertha Mae Buchanan of Nashville, Tennessee, Elizabeth Nelson of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Nylia Swint of LaFayette, Curlee Holmes of LaFayette, Kathleen Bailey of LaFayette, Barbara Ann Brown of LaFayette and Geneva Faye Davis of Chattanooga; her uncle Nathaniel Womble (Ruby) of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister-in-law Teresa Phillips of Tuscon, AZ; and her cousins, Janice Underwood and Tracy Ware (Chad Darden). She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
